The way he was watching him, the way he was penetrating his ice shield so easily, the way he tossed him down so easily, all that start to stack up fear and confusion in Julian...

Julians allmost fatal encounter with Entary. He was lucky it happened on frozen lake. Entary tought he died, while Julian barely survived.
As in mentioned in text above, Entary is much better than Julian in both phisical and elemental power, they are both Ice element so Entary easily dispelled every Julians Ice magic, and since Julian felt so powerfull and untouchable, he wasn't carrying any weapons at that time.

I am happy about the pose here and some details like stuff on the jacket slieve on Entarys jacket. Also i made more space in all directions to get the artistic feel.

Thx, I like how it came up too and thats why it's my own fav deviation. Sadly most people want colours, backgrounds, shiny details so this piece fails to join lots of groups but I'm still proud of it myself.

Love how this is composed and shaded. I'm working on ink and graphit shading techniques. I love how you left it rough with the graphite texture. i tend to overblend..alot...
